Metalloinvest to serve as general partner for «INNOPROM. Central Asia» international industrial exhibition

Metalloinvest, a leading global producer of hot-briquetted iron (HBI), a leading producer and supplier of iron ore and metallised products, and a regional producer of high-quality steel, will serve as general partner for the «INNOPROM. Central Asia» international industrial exhibition, which will take place 22–24 April in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Metalloinvest’s stand, at Uzexpocentre’s pavilion No. 2, will be one of the largest at the exhibition. Visitors to the stand will be able to see product samples and learn about the advanced technologies in use at the Company’s production sites: Lebedinsky GOK, Mikhailovsky GOK and OEMK.
Lebedinsky GOK is one of Russia’s leading producers of iron ore, Europe’s largest HBI producer and the largest producer of commercial HBI in the world. The plant’s main products include iron ore concentrate and pellets as well as hot-briquetted iron.
Mikhailovsky GOK ranks first in Russia in terms of iron ore reserves and second when it comes to iron ore production. The plant’s customers include major Russian and international steelmakers.
OEMK, one of the most advanced metallurgical enterprises in Russia, employs direct iron reduction and electric arc smelting technologies, which produce high-quality metal that is nearly free of harmful impurities and residual elements, thus driving consistently high demand for the product, both in Russia and abroad. OEMK is also one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality SBQ long products in Russia.
