Kuban and Uzbekistan Enterprises Intend to Create Joint Production and Interstate Industrial Cluster

April 30, 2025
The Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Alexander Ruppel, reported on the initial results of the Krasnodar Territory delegation's work at the International Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia" in Tashkent.

"Directly at the exhibition, the participants of the region's exposition concluded two agreements that are significant for the development of industry. The first is a memorandum of long-term cooperation between the regional company ATISS and the Uzbek Industrial Group Energy East. As a result of its implementation, the parties intend to create and implement automation systems in production and, in the future, form a joint production and service site in Uzbekistan. The second agreement provides for the organization of an interstate industrial cluster of agricultural machinery manufacturers. The regional enterprise PromAgroTekhnologii, Bashkir and Uzbek manufacturers plan to establish cooperation," said Alexander Ruppel.

The Vice-Governor added that both agreements provide for the development of robotics and digitalization of production processes. And the creation of an interstate industrial cluster will allow uniting leading enterprises of Russia and Uzbekistan, forming new cooperation chains and deepening integration in the field of agricultural machinery.

"At the INNOPROM. Central Asia site, our region annually demonstrates the latest developments and well-established product lines of industrial products of its own production. Traditionally, these are high-tech industries of metallurgy, machine tool construction and mechanical engineering, radio electronics, pharmaceutical and medical industries. For Kuban manufacturers, such platforms allow not only to increase cooperation ties but also to develop new sales markets. Over the years of holding the collective exposition of Kuban at the exhibition in Tashkent, its participants have concluded 50 contracts for the supply of products of their own production for a total amount of more than 462.2 million rubles," said Alexander Ruppel.
