May 21, 2025
On April 30, the 5th International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” concluded its work at the new CAEx Uzbekistan business arena in Tashkent.

The exhibition was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who was briefed on advanced industrial technologies by Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

A key event within the business program was the plenary session “Strategic Industrial Partnership in Central Asia: Integration Based on Advanced Technologies,” featuring Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of major businesses from Russia, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia.

During thematic sessions, government officials showcased key cooperative projects and discussed implementation steps with business community representatives and experts. The dialogue took place against the backdrop of historic growth in trade turnover between the countries, which exceeded 10 billion USD last year. Confirming their readiness to strengthen business cooperation, both sides expressed their intention to continue developing mutually beneficial partnerships across various sectors of the economy and industry.

New prospects for economic cooperation were outlined, including digitalization and the adoption of innovative solutions. Among the top priorities are creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurs and attracting investments. It was noted that the chemical industry demonstrates a high level of interaction between the parties. A vivid example is the effective operation of Russian enterprises in the Chirchik Industrial Park and the Jizzakh Industrial Park in Uzbekistan.

During the 2025 International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia,” a number of important agreements were signed to deepen trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Central Asian countries. Of particular note is the Regulation on Information Interaction of Operators of National Drug Labeling Systems, approved under the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at exchanging information on drug labeling codes for medical use.

The number of visitors during the exhibition exceeded 11,000, with a total exhibition area of 18,000 square meters. The Russian exposition featured 276 exhibitors from 17 regions. More than 200 companies participated in the national exposition of Uzbekistan, showcasing the latest technological developments and finished products across various economic sectors. Among foreign participants, visitors came from 35 countries, with national expositions presented by Belarus, Kazakhstan, and for the first time — Kyrgyzstan.
