Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov met with the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Batyrbek Kaipbergenov, in Ufa. The meeting focused on advancing collaboration in education and establishing a representative office of the Eurasian Research and Education Center in Uzbekistan.
Radiy Khabirov highlighted that Bashkortostan, in partnership with the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, is implementing a roadmap for cooperation development. This roadmap, approved in April 2024 during the ‘INNOPROM: Central Asia’ forum in Tashkent, focuses on initiatives in science and education. Discussions also included plans to open a representative office of the Eurasian Research and Education Center of World Level in Nukus. The center aims to foster joint research, experimental projects, and design work in priority areas of scientific and technological development.
“We participated in the international forum of the Eurasian Research and Education Center, ‘Science and Industry: Strategy 2030.’ We also visited Ufa State Petroleum Technical University and Ufa University of Science and Technology to discuss cooperation, student exchange, and network education,” said Batyrbek Kaipbergenov. “We were also introduced to innovative breakthrough projects being developed at scientific institutions in Bashkortostan, including telemedicine, genetics, and information technologies. These are areas where we plan to collaborate with Bashkortostan.” Kaipbergenov added, “At the meeting with the Head of Bashkortostan, we discussed priority vectors for development, including joint scientific projects, pedagogical experience exchange, and professional development courses for college educators.”
