At a joint meeting of the Expert Council on Energy Engineering, Electrical, and Cable Industry of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade, alongside the Commission on the Development and Implementation of Energy Efficiency and Energy-Saving Technologies of the Russian Engineering Union, participants discussed the application of new materials to improve the energy efficiency of Russian industrial enterprises.
Daniil Chernenko, Managing Director and Board Member of NPC 'AUTOPRIBOR,' shared the company’s experience with innovative amorphous alloys. He highlighted that, at the 'INNOPROM: Central Asia' Trade Fair, the company showcased an innovative power transformer with an amorphous steel core. This design reduces short-circuit losses by 60–70% and no-load losses by 25–30% compared to current transformers in operation.
