Putin and Mirziyoyev Highlight Demand for Tashkent Trade Fair

Russia's President Vladimir Putin and Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the significance of the 'INNOPROM: Central Asia' Trade Fair in Tashkent as a valuable platform for advancing trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan. This point was underscored in a joint statement following the discussions and negotiations between the two leaders.
The statement highlighted the parties' commitment and the importance of implementing a jointly developed plan to expand industrial cooperation, with the aim of boosting trade between the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan. Both leaders acknowledged the relevance of the 'INNOPROM: Central Asia' International Industrial Trade Fair in strengthening trade and economic relations.

During Putin’s official state visit to Tashkent from May 26-27, the Russian and Uzbek delegations approved more than 20 documents, including agreements, memorandums, and protocols, further solidifying bilateral cooperation.
