Softline Group entered the Uzbek market

There are 3 thousand enterprises with Russian participation in Uzbekistan. They are involved in projects in such key areas as the light, chemical and mining industries, metallurgy, automotive and aircraft engineering, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and digital solutions.

The energy partnership is progressing successfully, including the supply of natural gas, oil and petroleum products from Russia to Uzbekistan. Cooperation on the peaceful atom is developing with the participation of Rosatom.

Russian retailers and e-commerce companies are rapidly increasing their presence in the Uzbek market.

A fundamental decision has been made to create production facilities in Uzbekistan in the field of railway engineering.

Among the promising areas of development, Mikhail Mishustin noted the possibilities of organizing high-tech polymer production, localizing the production of civilian unmanned aircraft systems and their components.

Uzbekistan's participation in Eurasian integration can provide additional benefits for business. First of all, thanks to the opening of new sales markets and the creation of conditions for fair competition.

Strengthening humanitarian ties remains one of the priorities. Mikhail Mishustin noted the importance of preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War for future generations through joint projects in culture, science, and sports.

The mutual tourist flow between Russia and Uzbekistan doubled to 1.2 million people by the end of 2023. In the first half of 2024, it increased by another 12%. The Year of Tourism of Uzbekistan in Russia and the resumption of passenger trains from Moscow to Tashkent from September 24, 2024 will help to increase the indicators.
